Right next to Walibi Village lies the Spijkbos. This is a planted forest where mainly pines and firs thrive best. But in places where the soil is more fertile, deciduous trees such as poplars, oaks, and ashes have also been planted. Due to the great variation in soil and trees, there is also a wide variety of animals! You can spot many birds and also find various insects and amphibians. For the real detectives, you can find traces of beavers. For young and older adventurers, hiking trails have been laid out, namely the Sparrenpad (3km) and the Dennenroute (5km).

In the middle of the Veluwemeer lies Pierland, halfway between Bremerbergse Hoek and Harderwijk. This island has over 50 moorings.
